In Spiderman Snapshot, you use your hands to zoom in and take pictures of the Hobgoblin for the Daily Bugle as he ravages the city. Pictures you take are added to the screen as Polaroids that you can save after you’re done playing.
Spiderman Snapshot was a prototype we created in 48 hours for the NBCUniversal Hackathon in 2015. The goal was to create an experience that people could play while they were waiting in line. Our vision was to create multiple gesture stations linked to large projection windows that would let people interact with the Spiderman universe while waiting in line without the need for controllers or other hands-on devices. We placed second in our category and were awarded an honorable mention for our concept.
